FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Denver Nonprofit Crowdfunding for a Truck

Denver - CO (May17, 2014)--Denver non-profit, Extreme Community Makeover, is crowdfunding to purchase a truck. ECM is raising $7,500 through Neighborhood Catalyst, a project of the Mile High Business Alliance.

ECM is honored to serve the Denver community organizing volunteer projects for graffiti removal, landscaping, painting, yard work and many more neighborhood renovations. To be able to achieve greater efficiency and maximize their time, a truck is necessary.

A Truck Will Help ECM Maximize Efficiency

Transport Tools & Supplies

Each new project requires tools and supplies. ECM transports rakes, painting equipment, gardening tools, etc.  In addition, ECM rents or purchase supplies such as roto-tiller, sod, etc.

Haul Debris to Dumpsters

Garbage and debris is a given with each new project. Not only do projects accumulate waste after supplies are used, but on many projects ECM’s sole purpose is to pick up debris and take away unwanted materials.

Transportation of Necessary Equipment

Outside home renovations and cleanup projects all require equipment. The equipment is usually heavy and large. A truck is necessary to transport the large equipment to the volunteer sites.

ECM’s efforts will be utilized at a greater capacity by getting a truck. ECM is pleased to partner with
Neighborhood Catalyst for their crowdfunding efforts. To support their project, go to Neighborhood Catalyst. ECM’s promotional video can be viewed here

ECM is making a huge impact in Denver: "one block at a time.”
