Greetings!
How has your summer been going? It's been a great time for ECM as we've been able to connect with so many families through the involvement of hundreds of volunteers. Never underestimate how giving even one day of your time to something that helps others can make a huge impact on them, as well as yourself. As we move from the summer to the hopefully cooler temps this fall, we would like to invite you to get a group together to participate in ECM or to look at how you can get involved as an individual. Keep reading to find out more.

Yard Trees Available
Denver Digs Trees has provided more than 44,000 affordable and free trees to Denver residents over the past 21 years through a variety of beautiful trees that make communities healthier, more livable places. Tree applications are available NOW for your yard (on private property). The deadline for applications is September 1 with tree pick-up on October 6.
Trees are only $25 each and free to residents in the target neighborhoods listed below, which include all ECM neighborhoods. Trees this size usually sell for over $100.
Target neighborhoods: Athmar Park, Baker, Barnum, Barnum West, Chaffee Park, Clayton, Cole, Elyria-Swansea, Five Points, Globeville, Green Valley Ranch, Jefferson Park, Lincoln Park, Montbello, Northeast Park Hill, Ruby Hill, Skyland, Sun Valley, Valverde, Villa Park, West Colfax, Westwood, and Whittier. While trees for all other neighborhoods cost $25, "Treeships" are available for those with financial hardship.
Apply online here or contact The Park People at 303.722.6262.
July Volunteers
July was another busy month for ECM volunteers. In addition to the local Denver groups, people traveled from Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming to make a difference through ECM. Thank you!

Extreme Teams
We have had a lot of new people join the Extreme Teams recently but we still have some roles to fill. If you're looking for a way to make an ongoing impact through ECM through taking more of a leadership role in a specific area, find out more about each team by visiting our website and contacting Angela for more details.
