Summer
Work Days
|
Did
you know that in addition to the every other Saturday Work Days, ECM has Summer
Work Days every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am - 3 pm during the months of June
and July? A group from Youthworks sends us 15 volunteers each of those days
and other groups can also sign up. So far we've already had groups from
Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and
Wisconsin.....and that's just the first two weeks! If you're interested in
bringing out a group during the week, contact Angela.

Community
Forester Program
|
You can help ensure the health and vitality of Denver's
trees! A partnership between The Park People and Denver Parks &
Recreation, the Community Forester Program empowers individuals to lead tree
planting and care activities within the community. Once trained, Community
Foresters can lead and participate in tree planting and care projects in their
neighborhoods as well as activities for The Park People, Denver's Forestry
Division, and The Mile High Million tree planting initiative. This
is a great opportunity to support our environment, urban greening, community
health, and quality of life in Denver. For more details, click here.
