Around this time each year, youth from around the country travel to Denver.  And many of these groups find their way to volunteering with ECM during their summer of service, along with many local groups.  This message I received recently reminds me of the importance of the work we are doing both outside and inside the home, as expressed in the words of a woman whose house ECM recently painted...   "It's not just that I enjoy the outside of my home...this is making changes in my life.  I am eating better, exercising more, opening the house up to more light....I LOVE how the exterior of my home looks.  Now, with the vegetation (trees, flowers, bushes) blooming , it is a joy to behold."   Angela Bomgaars, Executive Director  2013 ECM Work Days Join an upcoming ECM Work Day.  Future dates can be found on the calendar on our website by clicking here.                        Saturday, June 15 @ 9:00 am (Villa Park)   Westside Christian Fellowship - 810 Knox Court               Saturday, June 29 @ 9:00 am (Swansea)   Focus Points - 2501 East 48th Avenue     To get involved, please RSVP to Angela and follow the links below to fill out the appropriate liability form.

Facebook & Twitter If you're not already following ECM on Facebook and Twitter, make sure to do that today so you can see pictures of the projects completed and volunteers involved.  You might even find yourself in some of those photos!   Summer Work Days Starting this month, ECM Work Days will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from June 4 through August 1, except for July 4, from 9:00 am through 3:00 pm, in addition to Saturday Work Days.  A number of the groups volunteering are from out of state but we also have a handful of companies spending a day of work participating in an ECM Work Day.  So far we've already had groups from Arizona, Idaho, Iowa, and South Dakota.             If you would like to get a group involved during the week sometime this summer, contact Angela to get that scheduled.  Church Partner: Restoration Community Church    Thank you to Restoration Community Church for your continued support of ECM as a 2013 Church Partner!  We always enjoy working with you and appreciate your involvement in impacting Denver neighborhoods alongside ECM.   May Volunteers Thank you to everyone who got involved in ECM during the month of May!   Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Program Alumni * God's Grace Community Church * Harvest Bible Chapel Denver * Keller Williams * Restoration Community Church * University of Denver Alumni * Valor Christian High School * Individuals
